FIRE DOORS
We specialize in installing and restoring fire doors, frames, and screens, including front entrance doors, communal doors, and screen sets in multi-story residential buildings.
Our installation works are certified through third party accreditation by IFCC.
In accordance with our third party accreditations we provide our clients with full certification, thereby providing assurances that all work has been carried out according to the manufacturer’s instructions and/or installed to BS8214:2008.
FIRE / SMOKE CURTAIN
We carry out surveys on roof voids to highlight the requirements to ensure that buildings are in accordance with building regulations and to ensure that fire compartment walls are continued above the ceiling into the roof void.
If required we can also provide and install fire-rated access hatches, walkways and handrails for the roof space as well as improving its insulation.
All fire curtains installed by Aries are fully tested, certified and comply with the relevant BS or EN standards.
CAVITY BARRIERS
We install cavity barriers that insulate products, ensuring enhanced fire protection, acoustic performance, and thermal efficiency within concealed wall cavities. By incorporating these barriers, we improve the safety and overall performance of buildings, addressing critical aspects such as fire resistance, sound insulation, and energy efficiency.
Cavity Barriers are multi-purpose insulation products providing fire, acoustic and thermal performance in concealed wall cavities.
Cavity Barriers conform to building regulation definitions of a cavity barrier, cavity stop, providing up to 60 minutes fire resistance. They are also intended to restrict the passage of smoke and flames through extended roof voids.
ACOUSTIC & AIR SEALING
We have the experience to install a range of acoustic stopping and air sealing products including:
Acoustic rated batts,rated curtains & rated mastic.
All of the acoustic stopping materials used have been tested for noise reduction and as such literature can be provided upon request.
Aries can install and apply each of these materials (tested to BS 476 Part 20) onsite to meet both air sealing and acoustic requirements.
INTUMESCENT COATINGS
The intumescent coatings we offer can achieve 30, 60 or 120 minutes fire protection depending on client requirements.
All intumescent coatings are applied to the appropriate dry film thickness to achieve the required fire protection and are tested onsite in accordance with our third party certification.
Our operatives are CSCS qualified and have the experience, training and qualifications to apply the complete range of intumescent coatings.
Coatings can be sealed with topcoats to most BS and RAL colours and also sprayed to a decorative finish if required.
BOARDING SYSTEMS
Boarding is one of the best-known methods of Passive Fire Protection. It has undergone astonishing advances over time. Today we have access to a wide variety of materials that can be used in Protective Boarding Systems, depending on the individual needs and requirements of the project at hand.
DRYLINING & PARTITION WALLS
We offer a variety of partition and lining systems to meet specific performance requirements, including standard partitions, metal furring linings, shaft walls, and drywall framed encasements. Our systems use a range of boards like wallboard, moisture board, sound shield, and fire shield for insulation, acoustic, and fire protection. We also provide specialized ceiling systems, such as MF ceilings, direct to timber ceilings, and suspended ceilings, addressing needs like acoustics, moisture, hygiene, and fire resistance. Additionally, our direct bonding method allows efficient plasterboard installation, accommodating nominal background irregularities.
